Daniel Cassady

I’m a New York–based journalist, essayist, and fiction writer. I’m currently the art-business reporter at ARTnews, where I cover the people, money, machinations, and institutions that make the art world run.

Previously, I’ve written for The Art Newspaper, and the New York Post. My work has also appeared in Elle Decor, Forbes, and The Washington Post.
